Scratch Pad

Just a place to keep notes until I make proper changelog items.

• [-] Audio device does not always initialize when starting scroller.
• Each proclamation should play for between 3 and 5 minutes before continuing to the next.
• Proclamations should be downloaded again when the Proclamation Options page is opened.
• Proclamation downloads should be a sync, not a complete overwrite, and should handle cases where items missing from the database are removed from the application.
• Real license keys still need to be implemented. The functionality exists to check them, but they are not checked.
• Migrate from SDL2 to SDL3.
• Migrate from OpenGL Core to OpenGL GLES for compatibility on ARM devices.
• Prevent switching screens during "pre-run" checks such as WiFi, Email, and License Key.
• TOS pages need to be re-added.
• Create a short tutorial of how to use the application.
• Investigate playing video from the application, try using SDL.

? Cage does not allow rotating the display. This should likely be done in software, but I need to check NixOS configuration first. To avoid doing this within RhemaWave would avoid many headaches, bugs, and a LOT of code.
