fix: use recursiveUpdate instead of // to preserve packages.default

The // operator does shallow merge, so packages.x86_64-linux.test-vm
overwrote the entire packages.x86_64-linux attrset, losing the default
package. nixpkgs.lib.recursiveUpdate properly merges nested attrsets.
